Check your closets for outgrown clothes and shoes in the correct season for the sale (fall/winter for July sale, spring/summer for February sale). Be sure to filter out those items that show too much wear, have irreparable damage or are on our lists of items that we do not accept. You will be given the option at registration to donate any unsold items to our designated charitable organization(s).
Consignor Registration Forms: Please print your Consignor Registration Form (please use the Consignor Registration Form link for a copy of a blank form) prior to dropping off your items. You will turn these forms in at drop-off. Printing and bringing these forms with you will save you time at drop-off. These forms will be available at the event, but you will speed up the drop-off process by bringing in your forms. All Sellers must fill out two forms.
Number of Items: We ask that each consignor brings a minimum of 25 items and a maximum of 750 items.
Item Drop-Off: Please make sure that all items are arranged by gender and size prior to dropping off and please have a total count of all your items. If you send someone else to drop-off, please let him or her know what to expect.
Drop-Off Dates and Times: You may drop off your items on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. or Thursday, February 23, 2012 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Checks and unsold item pick-up: Plan to pick up any unsold items that you do not wish to donate on Sunday, February 26, 2012 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. All items not picked up during these times will be considered donations to our designated charitable organization(s). Please allow two weeks for your check to be mailed to you.
General Guidelines:
Clothes: We accept boys and girls clothing from newborn through size 16 only. Clothing of all types will sell very well, if it is in good condition. A fresh laundering and ironing will make a difference. Items with holes or spots will not be accepted at drop off. Please bring only items that you would purchase for your children. Remember to snap all snaps and button all buttons. All items should be placed on a hanger (preferably wire) with the hanger making a question mark and all items safety pinned to the hanger to secure placement. Place all onesies and underwear in plastic zipper bags to sell in bins. Make sure to pin pants and skirts securely to the top of the hanger. If you pin at the bottom of the hanger, the items tend to slide to one side and are difficult for shoppers to see on the rack.
Maternity clothing: There will NOT be a limit during this sale for maternity items. Please tag only Spring and Summer name-brand items that are in excellent condition. Do not bring larger sized ladies clothing to sell as maternity - those will not be accepted.
Toys: Any items that require batteries, such as a toy or game, should have fresh batteries installed so that buyers can see how it works. Any toy or puzzle with pieces should be put in a plastic zip bag or held together with plastic wrap so that they will not come apart. We cannot be responsible for lost pieces, so please secure all pieces together. The title of a book or movie should be written on the index card and may be sold in sets where appropriate. Please limit stuffed animals to 3 per consignor, only allowing those to be named brand in NEW condition with the original cost being no less than $15.00.
Furniture: For large ticket items, we suggest that you go on line, if possible, and print off information and current price, or you may attach original sales information. This information may be attached to your index card. Name brand items sell very well such as doll houses, kitchen sets, wagons, etc.
Equipment: Any item requiring batteries, such as a swing or bouncy seat, should have fresh batteries installed for the sale. Please ensure that items you plan to sell are not subject to manufacturers’ recalls. For assistance, visit the web site of the U.S. Consumer Safety Commission at http://www.cpsc.gov/cgi-bin/prod.aspx or call the Department of Transportation (800 424.9393). Please thoroughly clean baby equipment prior to item drop off. This includes washing fabric covers for car seats, stroller, etc. Baby carriers should be placed on hangers. We cannot accept any pack and plays that have exposed metal hinges.
Shoes: All should be in excellent and gently worn condition. Clean or polish shoes, as needed, with all laces tied and all closures fastened. Please place shoes in a zip lock plastic bag. Tape your index card tag on three sides with clear packaging tape.
